Hi there, it's Emre. I'm currently a Ph.D. student at Ekiz Lab / IZTECH, where we focus on Tumor Immunology and Bioinformatics and where crazy science ninjas live. My research scope includes non-coding RNAs' impact on the immune system and cancer. Additionally, I'm working on developing user-friendly interfaces that make it easier to conduct in-depth bioinformatic analysis on high-throughput data. Aside from my work at EkizLab, I'm also the head of the IZTECH football community. I used to play football professionally, so it's great to stay involved in the sport and organize events that promote awareness and entertainment. Outside my academic and organization-related pursuits, I like traveling and exploring new places. There's just something about being a #wanderlust that speaks to me.
