As a Legal Assistant, I support the efficient functioning of the legal team by handling a diverse range of responsibilities. My key duties include:• Legal Research: Conducting in-depth research on various legal issues, providing critical information to assist in case preparation and decision-making.• Client Communication: Serving as a primary point of contact for clients, managing correspondence, and ensuring clear and effective communication.• Document Preparation: Drafting recruitment and client agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.• File Management: Organizing and maintaining client files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.• Migration Applications: Assisting in the drafting and submission of Department of Home Affairs migration applications, ensuring all requirements are met.• Event Organization: Coordinating company events, from planning to execution, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.• IT Infrastructure Support: Contributing to the improvement of IT systems, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department’s operations.Through this role, I have developed strong research, organizational, and communication skills, contributing to the overall success of the legal team.

• Law Without Walls (LWOW) is an international competition and experiential learning initiative designed for practicing and aspiring legal and business professionals that brings a human-centered design perspective to law. • During the competition my team was tasked with creating a solution to an issue facing the legal industry and present our solution within 3 days.• My team won one of two Audience Choice Awards out of 14 teams.
