It… Show more During my time at Pernod Ricard Asia I worked in the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R) team:Worked with the S&R Manager to support market affiliates in specific country projects that are a part of Pernod Ricard's Sustainability Roadmap such as: - Training for the Prevention of Alcohol-Related Risks for all commercial/sales employees in 16 Asian markets including India & China - Drink More Water, an innovative alcohol education campaign. It aims to promote responsible drinking and to combat binge drinking among adults. This campaign was implemented in 14 markets across Asia. - The Bar World of Tomorrow, a training programme aimed at upskilling bartenders on sustainable and responsible practices. By July 2023, over 2600 bartenders were trained across 12 markets in Asia. - Glass Bottle Recycling Initiatives in markets such as Malaysia and Vietnam and other markets in which Extended Producer Responsibility regulations would come into force. Supported the Corporate Affairs team on general coordination and monitoring of environmental regulations in Southeast Asian markets. I worked on: - Leading the Sustainability Working Group of the Asia Pacific International Spirits and Wines Alliance (APISWA) of which Pernod Ricard is a leading member. - Monitoring incoming regulations related to sustainable packaging and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPRs) in markets such as Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Hong Kong. - Providing support to industry organizations such as the Alcohol & Beverages Alliance of the Philippines, Incorporated (ABAPI) as well as the Indonesian Spirits & Wine Alliance (ISWA) by building their communications platforms. - Created a booklet for APISWA highlighting the Alcohol in Society initiatives that were implemented in Cambodia to reduce alcohol-related harm and promote the responsible consumption of alcohol.
