Born in Australia to American parents, I pursued my education in Switzerland and am fluent in English, German, and Portuguese. My diverse experiences range from authoring four books—including the pioneering "The Electronic Traveler" in 1994, which was one of the first about online travel information—to specializing in artificial intelligence programming and developing intelligent bots for 3D virtual worlds. Between 2013 and 2015, I was based in Bangalore (Bengaluru, Karnataka), focusing on chatbot projects. I currently lead the Chatbot Developers Bangalore Facebook group, which boasts over 800 members. In 2021, I achieved a Master's degree in Creative Industries, with a concentration on virtual human systems (AI in VR). Additionally, I co-manage the Virtual Beings Facebook group, which has a community of more than 9,000 members. My foundation in Quaker elementary school instilled in me the value of consensus, which has been pivotal in successfully overseeing vast online communities.
