First I was a 1990s teenage music journalist and then code became a voice. My passion is for all things creative. I am a solution maker through web technology. There is about a zillion ways to grow your business online. I’m here to help discover what works best for you. That could mean:- Building a custom website. I specialize in WordPress, having launched hundreds of sites over the last sixteen years.- Managing, updating, and maintaining your website as your monthly go-to person.- Fixing a website that’s on fire. I have repaired countless hacked and broken sites.- Conducting website audits for speed, buggy code, ADA compliance, or SEO health. What I am learning:- Advocating for mental wellness in all situations. The grind is not worth more than the person.- Partnering with businesses and non-profits who share my values and ethics.- Making the web more fun and creative.- Exploring my inner storyteller through visual art and music. What makes me a good fit:- Decades of experience in the creative industry, from running my own studio to being a hired gun for many design and marketing agencies.- Custom themes and plugins, avoiding the bloat of page builders and bulky plugins. I write code from the ground up.- Programmers can’t design. Designers can’t code. I have an extensive background in and speak both languages.- A high level of communication. You can expect detailed, time-sensitive feedback. I don’t go running for the hills.- Calm in adversity. Have sixty websites that were injected with malware? Yeah, I’ve fixed that before. Did your web developer disappear? I could fill a black book with those that I’ve stepped in and saved a client from.- I filter nonsense. I don’t dig fluff or wasted time. I can detect when you are burning money on unhelpful resources.I would love to hear your story and explore your web needs. I’m here to help.
