I was born in Mexico City, one of the largest and most chaotic in the world when it comes to transportation, and I always liked to observe the dynamics of the different modes of transportation that this city offers. For this reason, I always that once I was studying to become an engineer, I would devote my efforts to understanding how transportation infrastructure is planned, designed, built, and operated.Throughout my years, I have seen the implementation of BRT systems such as the metrobus, new subway lines, elevated urban highways, and above all, infrastructure for non-motorized modes. This gives me the motivation to keep believing that it is possible to innovate and drive mobility forward.On the other hand, I have recently been interested in massive analysis and data science, which are also a fundamental part of the analysis of transport and the internal dynamics of cities, as well as the interaction between them. I completed my Master's studies at the University of Leeds in the UK, where I focused my research topic on the use of public data to obtain an allocation to the transport network.I am sure that the new trends will be a challenge for all of us who dedicate ourselves to this and it motivates me to be part of this challenge.
