Specialised in mapping the product development processes of various companies to define performance metrics for the measurement, comparison, or evaluation of co-design sessions.Play Sandbox Project - REACT Knowledge Exchange Hub for the Creative Economy funded project focusing on technology within play. Specialised in researching the game design process to outline what engineering designers can learn from it.

Worked as an integral part of a EU funded FP7 project focusing on producing methodology and a software platform for eco-design. Specialised in researching how to integrate supplier collaboration into the eco-design process and designing the architecture of a supplier information sharing portal to support eco-design software.

Assisted lecturers and tutored students during Year 1 Mechanical Engineering Design tutorials.

Worked mainly on a project to improve the design of a die necker for 2-piece can production; investigated possible solutions, organised and conducted collaborative design sessions (with designers, apprentices, technicians etc.), meet with suppliers and created CAD models.

Worked as part of 3-piece food can team and mainly focused on designing new can concepts, tools to produce them, testing both the tools and cans, and publishing findings in technical reports.

Worked mainly on a 2-piece beverage can production line and focused on improving machine changeover times. Projects undertaken included updating SOPs, introducing a 5S based changeover tool organisation method that reduced change over times by approx. 20% and redesigning sections of the production line. Also experienced working 4-on/4-off 12-hour shifts for a month.
