- Understand business objectives, product roadmap & vision, contract requirements from the Product Managers and communicate this information to the engineering teams- Establish and maintain relationships with process partners, specifically Product Management, Regulatory, QA, and Manufacturing- Manage and coordinate activities and dependencies between Engineering and process partners (i.e. Product Management, Regulatory, QA, and Manufacturing)- Manage the scope of the project, prioritize project needs based on tasks outstanding, open issues, roadblocks, budgets, resources and deadlines- Guide the Engineering teams from the project initiation phase to the closure phase- Collaborate with Engineering Team Leaders and their Supervisors on developing project release plans and defining expected deliverables- Ensure that Engineering deliverables and priorities are aligned with the Product Roadmap- Create project schedules, track milestones, and report project progress, risks, issues- Provide regular communication of project updates, critical issues, impact and mitigation to stakeholders and leadership team- Chair and facilitate Project Reporting meetings and prepare meeting minutes- Prepare Gate Review slides (as per QMS) and present to stakeholders- Contribute to budget planning activities, consolidate, and review data with the appropriate leadersTrack and report on actual budget spent- Contribute and support process improvement initiatives, Agile practices, and PMO tools-Guide and coach Engineering Team Leaders on best project management practices-Perform other project management duties requested from the Product Development Director to successfully complete projects on time and on budget-Ensure all regulatory requirements are respected by interfacing regularly with regulatory manager. - Participate in continuous process improvements.- Any other tasks and responsibilities requested and granted by the Product Development Director
