LEAD TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:• Expand the business’s range of service offerings beyond only iPhones by leveraging my expertise and knowledge of device repair• Advise and guide junior repair technicians to help facilitate their successful repairs, both in-person, and remotely via video conferencing, voice chat• Resolve escalated repairs that were beyond the skill level of junior repair technicians, to guarantee customer satisfaction • Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee full functionality of all devices that have been repairedGENERAL DEVICE REPAIR RESPONSIBILITIES:• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware related issues, using a variety of specialized tools, such as the Tristar Tester, which is used to diagnose Tristar/Hydra on iPhones and iPads• Perform repair procedures using a variety of precision tools, such as The Automatic OCTA Disassembler (AOD) to remove Samsung smartphone back-glasses• Swap out and replace damaged components, and fully restore the functionality of damaged smartphones, tablets, laptops, and portable consoles• Perform software repairs, such as firmware updates, OS updates, factory resets and restores• Cut and create new car keys, using MIRACLE A9 all-in-one key cutting and duplicating machine• Program automobile key fobs, and remotes, using the SmartBox Automotive Programming Tool. Diagnose error codes, and troubleshoot causes for programming failure
