2020 was a year that stopped us all in our tracks. And yet we, as a race did what humans do...pick up and move on. The ones left behind however were our parents, grandparents and many others advanced in age. While they were the most vulnerable to the threat of COVID, they were also most exposed to falling prey to the horrors of anxiety and loneliness.This was the reason I founded the Circle of Grey. An online community for those 60 and over. A space where they can interact with other like-aged and like-minded people. Where they can share their talents and discover new ones. The group aims to support a happy, hopeful and healthy retirement. Content, activities and initiatives within the group focus on physical and mental wellbeing and talent exploration. The group uses art, music and games to create an empowered community that sees the elderly age gracefully and with pride.I manage the day-to-day operations of the group along with my team of Co-founders and Content Creators.
