Meng Guo is a Senior Data Scientist at Amazon at Amazon. They possess expertise in python, microsoft office, research, c, stata and 39 more skills. Colleagues describe them as "I recruited Meng from a deep learning course that I teach at Washington University in St. Louis as an adjunct. As an adjunct instructor I have the benefit of recruiting the top students from my course for RGA. I was immediately impressed by Meng’s analytics and Python programming skills. Her strong coding abilities give her the ability to express complex modeling and feature engineering ideas to further enhance our models. Meng is very adept at working either individually (with minimal supervision) or as part of a team. Everything that Meng has produced for us has been high quality, with very good attention to detail. She is a great communicator and is able to quickly grasp requirements and ask questions to ensure complete understanding. This summer she began some of our initial deep learning analysis of the NHANES activity dataset to predict mortality. She was assigned to create both the convolutional neural networks used to analyze the time series data, as well as the feature encoding of this unique dataset. Meng also helped with the conversion of one of our models to Cython. We were sufficiently impressed with her summer work and offered a continuation into the fall semester.
