Draigon is a pioneering global initiative using AI to predict antiviral resistance from genomic data, with a mission to develop an innovative in-vitro diagnostic device that integrates whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and AI for the rapid and accurate diagnosis of patients infected with multi-drug resistant (MDR) microorganisms, applicable to virtually any pathogen-antimicrobial combination.Coordinated by the European Vaccine Initiative, the consortium includes internationally recognised experts in respective fields and will validate the IVD device in 5 hospitals across the globe As part of the consortium, Camtech Innovations will deliver prototype devices built upon its microfluidic platform for automation of the workflow, leading to significant savings in time, reagent costs and manpower

The purpose-built Campus comprises a fully integrated 1800 bed acute and community hospital, Specialist Outpatient Clinics, and Intermediate and Long-Term Care facility.It aims to reinvent the way care is delivered by providing patients easy accessibility across the acute, intermediate and community care settings, and by leveraging technology to enhance care within the hospital and extend the reach of its healthcare professionals into the community.As part of a non profit board with public sector stakeholders, I was invited to join the board and contribute by advising on how the latest technology innovations could be harnessed as part of its forward looking mission
