-Lead cross-functional team to drive and execute multiple R&D projects in NA R&D division. -Utilize stage gate processes and production scale trials to develop film products for business growth and cost out purposes.

-Lead sustainability projects within global R&D division by focusing on the development of pressure sensitive adhesive solutions.-Hands on experience in PSA synthesis via emulsion polymerization and characterization in laboratory environment. -Mentored a lab technician on experimental design, data analysis and summary.

Have synthesized divinyl spiropyran mechanophore via 5 steps, fit for chain growth polymerization, accounting for more than 80% of polymer products. • Solid experience in characterization methods including FT-IR/ATR, GPC, DMA, DTA, DSC, DLS, Instron, rheometer, NMR, TEM, SEM, XPS, Raman Spectroscopy, Contact Angle, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and Fluorescence Spectroscopy, and Confocal microscope as well as analyzing structure-property relationship of polymers.• Excellent writing skills developed through five peer-reviewed publications as first author.• Excellent verbal skills demonstrated as the sole recipient of A. E. Hamielec Award for best oral presentation in MUCEC, 2016. Also gave oral presentations in an international conference, CSCHE, 2016.• Successfully developed mechanical force sensitive acrylic latex coating, elastomers, polyolefins, hydrogels and microgel dispersions in the collaboration with colleagues. • Established a standard inventory of 500 chemicals for the lab and maintained safety records, MSDS, labelling and chemical waste disposal to ensure a safe lab working environment.
