• Research expertise on high throughput screening from medium to ultra-high throughput for both high throughput and high content (imaging) approaches.• Research expertise on in vitro pharmacology targets: membrane proteins, i.e. ion channels, GPCRs, and transporters, and cancer-related targets. • Research expertise on assay development for protein-protein interactions, enzymes, ion channels, GPCRs, transporters, and phenotypic assays in both biochemical and cell-based formats (2D and 3D spheroids).• Research expertise on assay development and high throughput screening with fluorescence polarization assay, time-resolved fluorescence assay, luminescence assays, Alpha-screen assays, and surface plasma resonance assays.• Research expertise on target validation with both chemical genetic and genetic (shRNA or gRNA) approaches in vitro.• Leadership, project management, and business development as Director/Manager of a research core facility of 3-5 personnel for more than 8 years. • Setting up the UIHTS core facility with assay development, robotic automation, libraries (small molecules, cells, and CRISPR-gRNA), data analysis and standard operational procedures from the beginning.• Assay technology development and adaption expertise on fluorescent and chemo- and bio-sensors i.e. fluorescent chemical sensors/nano-sensors, as well as label-free high throughput screening Epic platform.• Working experience of drug discovery from early hit generation, medchem lead generation and optimization, animal test for efficacy and toxicology, to working with clinician/surgeons for clinical tests.• Excellent communicators in science as well in in personal relationship with colleagues. Ability to work with scientists and non-scientist collaborators in multiple disciplines.• Adjunct professorship in multiple departments/colleges, participating in teaching, grant application, and internal/external collaborations.
