Published the first Ethiopian Journal of Health and Biomedical Sciences, since Sept.11, 2007, UOG. The college opened new additional under and postgraduates’ programs. Renovated and accessed all teaching buildings within the campus by walking paths and road for vehicles.. Teaching methodology training was provided to all academic staff of the college.. New academic staff was recruited and promoted. Scholar opportunities were given to the academic staff who have served two years and above.. Clinical skill lab was established for demonstrations and practices of students. Additional lecture rooms were constructed. Teaching aids were avail from donating agencies and partners.

Responsibilities:. Coordinating the office and field activities of the ongoing data collections. Following the data entries, analysis, write up and publications. Assigning of MPH and Ph.D. graduating students to use the database for their paperwork. Planning different intervention projects on the project sites for better community services. Developing project grants to support the ongoing activities of the project sites and staff Achievements:. It has become a source of health profile in the northern part of the country. Many students were encouraged to work on the project sites for their final year theses.. Presentations and Publication have made as an output of the project.. International projects for the project site communities’ benefits have been done.. Data collectors were refreshed with additional short-term training. Many researchers have used the database for their respective studies and charged for the services delivered. The income generation and fund-raising mechanisms were encouraging from time to time.
