Product Marketing Engineer – Encoder Product Division, Renishaw
CurrentMy core responsibility is to manage new product development and current product growth. I play a critical role between design and commercial teams to deliver market driven product solutions. Key areas of responsibility:Provide marketing leads for new/ special product development• Undertaking market research, involving key customers to form product concept• Engaging R&D teams to develop business case• Driving new product development New product launches and current product promotional campaigns• Defining product proposition and branding• Establishing marketing value messages and pricing discount structures • Coordinating with marketing team to develop launch strategy and deliver marketing campaigns in targeted trade events• Specifying requirements for marketing collaterals Product ambassador• Creating technical content, such as presentations, demos, videos to educate the market on product knowledge• Presenting product solutions at trade events, sales conferences and key customers’ sitesCompetition strategies • Liaising with sales team to conduct competitor intelligence research• Developing product or marketing strategies to win competitionsSupport business growth• Maintaining sales pipelines, evaluating markets, providing sales forecast and creating new opportunities• Engaging sales team to analyse product applications and customer feedback to expand business potential • Providing tools and training to support sales activities • Managing product life cycle
