- Tech Lead for the Developer Environments Team (5 ICs): equipping 1000+ engineers with fast & reliable workflows to test pre-merged code in a shared staging environment of manual & simulated traffic.- Spearheaded a 1-year-long, multi-project initiative from inception to GA launch, architecting and delivering a control plane for dev environment traffic in Lyft’s staging cluster. * Built & scaled a tech stack of a Go backend (k8s APIs, gRPC, Protobuf, DynamoDB), dynamic routing Envoy HTTP filters (C++), and in-house UI tools (ingress proxy Electron app, CLIs). * Created the concept of IDs for context propagation-based sandbox environments and taught our Edge Gateway & Service Mesh how to natively route on this ID. Migrated frameworks and E2E testing workflows across backend, frontend, and mobile onboard. * Impact: Improved usability, availability, and extensibility of dev env platforms. Env setup times reduced from O(minutes) to O(seconds).- Mentored team members in their career growth by identifying impactful opportunities and delegating scope; shepherded promotions (L3 to L4, L4 to L5/Senior) within the team.- Defined long-term roadmaps & OKRs, represented team in exec reviews & XFN partnerships, managed x-team (networking, deploys, security, compute/provisioning, tech ed, QE/SDET) projects/timelines, stewarded customer UX research & evangelism efforts.- Re-staffed the team after 2 company-wide RIFs in 6mo: conducted XX Senior design/arch interviews, established int’l (Mexico City & Minsk, Belarus) DevOps/IT partnerships

- Led pod of 3 engineers to create a Kubernetes deployment system (Go, PostgreSQL) for isolated test service instances: translating YAML config into k8s artifacts, integrating with prod CI/CD, and designing UI/UX of Github webhooks & clutch.sh front-end components. Impact: 3X growth of MAU.- OSS Contributor: Developed new request route mutability APIs for envoyproxy/envoy, which unblocked business-critical Edge Gateway virtual host use cases, impacting 100s of endpoints.- Drove the implementation of a Go backend handling IP resolution for integrated tests, helped decommission EC2 VM envs and save $X million/year in hosting expenses.- Prototyped a CRD controller for a multi-tenant cluster emulating Lyft’s prod stack in singular namespaces.
