I'm Mengting Chang, a junior majoring in Computer Science at San Jose State University. As a dedicated and versatile professional, I have gained extensive experience in Esports management, residential life, education, and teaching. Currently, I serve as an Esports Supervisor at San Jose State University, where I coordinate over 50 support staff and facilitate operations for multiple Esports titles. I also contribute to student life as a Residential Advisor, planning programs, mediating conflicts, and providing support to residents. My background includes teaching as a Lab Instructor for the Computer Science Department, where I guided students in programming. My volunteer experience spans from providing tech support at a library to promoting sustainability at local events and offering empathetic support as an online listener. Proficient in programming langauges Java, Python, MySQL, as well as various technologies, I bring strong leadership, technical skills, and a passion for fostering inclusive and engaging communities. I always aim for excellence in what I do. It is a principle that has carried me through my works and hobbies. My position within the Esports industry has allowed me to meet and learn from people with a variety of skillsets. Media production, technical expertise, and wordsmithing are amongst my sharpest tools.
