Majoring Quantitative Methods and Modeling, I am seeking for entry-level risk management/quantitative financial analyst jobs. Interested in the financial market, I decided to learn finance when I was a girl at primary school. Firstly, I got into college majoring Financial Management in China then transferred to Baruch to learn US Accounting. During the time and after, I always interned and worked in the financial/accounting industry to get more real understanding of the knowledge application; these experiences provided me with a precious opportunity to know both IFRS and GAAP rules. Now I want to leverage more on the technical skills and also employ my fundamental analysis skills to devote my knowledge, skills, experiences and interests into risk management/quantitative financial analysis job.Besides my interests and strong academic background, I have highly related experiences working in both credit analysis and financial analysis. From personal credit analysis, small business credit analysis, to big energy group analysis, I get a solid understanding of the micro and macro credit market. Also, my tax and corporate finance experiences help me to start from the company's daily operation to a bigger view of financial decisions. I would like to learn more and be exposed more in the industry. I am passionate, collaborated, and good at communication. Working as a student leader from primary school, I know how important communication works in teamwork. Especially when as a student senate, I always represent hundreds or thousands of students, to serve them well and work more efficiently, I need to understand what they need and have the initial heart to help others. Been awarded as "Honored Student Leader" and "Horned Social Work Volunteers", I would like to serve and give more to people who helped and who need help. I also got the change to start Baruch Girls Who Code by just cold emailing Girls Who Code Product Manager; I am definitely proud of myself doing that and start an amazing new club, recruiting and working with a bunch of hard-working, motivated girls. As a highly detail-oriented, self-driven, and a person who wants to get more in the industry. I finished several intense projects in Python, R, SAS, Arena, by doing multivariable regression, machine learning, simulations and more. I am grateful for all the professors to instigate and inspire my interests, offering help, however, I impressed myself by how far I can reach through teaching myself u and solving the problems I faced sing public resources. It is one of the best personality I have.
