Because I didn't have so much classes this semester, I determined to get a part-time job as a food server at my dorm's restaurant. To satisfied different students' tastes, the restaurant has so many kinds of food for me to learn to make. This is quite challenging but interesting. And I met a lot of new friends here and improved my English Speaking.These are the things I always do:. Prepare food for the restaurant to serve like cutting vegetables, roasting chicken chest and boiling soup. Make every kind of ingredients right in order.. Serve delicious breakfast to students in the early morning from about 6:30 am to 11:00 am with big smiles to provide good relaxing mornings.. Make coffee at Starbucks and try my best to satisfied every request.. Learn to make burgers, sandwiches, Korean Bimbimbam,Ramen and a lot types of food from different country. Show less

When I first touched the business club which is a totally new concept for a student in normal high school( I mean not international schools.)I found it so interesting. This brand new idea made me the thought of forming one in my school. So I did it. And after that, I came up with another idea of setting up our club's real business. I made a plan of setting a school grocery store. It may not be big but is convenient for the school faculty and students. These are what I actually do to set the store:. Negotiate with school’s president and ask for financial support to open the store.. Surveyed among students in school to determine which kinds of goods we need to sell in our store.. Investigate into the wholesale market to find out which wholesaler we need to build connection with.. Determine which decorative style our store needs to attract more customers.. Manage the store with right business pattern. . Hold meetings with team members to discuss new selling strategy.. Result: The store end with the profit doubled the amount of our beginning cost within half a year. And now the store is still running successfully in my high school. It was the first student managing grocery store and was reported by many local newspapers and TV news reporters. Show less
