Getting non-theological students enthusiastic for the vast theological knowledge possessed by the TU Kampen. This entails promoting the study facilities within the Theological University e.g. to follow specific subjects and minors. But also assessing the needs for theological knowledge among external students and coming up with lectures, workshops to fulfill these needs.

Assisting and guiding pupils from 12-18 years in their (facultative) classes and superintending certain exams.

Measuring objects and the different types of ecological management with a GPS in the city district and inplement this information in a Geo-Information System (GIS). This map is now used by the eco-managers and external parties like the contractors e.g. for mowing.

The temporary job consisted of assisting the CA2Africa project with data-analysis. This included modeling data in Olympe-software and explaining the model to and cooperating with employees of CIMYTT (Harare, Zimbabwe)

I did research (fully independently) into the effects of incentives on the promotion of soil and water conservation by farmers in a rural area 70 km south of Cusco. Data was gathered by interviews (farmers and NGO representatives), questionaires and field measurements. Also I got an overview of all programmes executed (and method used) by various NGOs in the area. I especially got acquanted with the work and method of Caritas Cusco and reflected much on the achievements and failures of NGOs in the area.

The various tasks of chairman with my study association required various skills from social and analytical. For example representing the student association within Wageningen and towards other associations by giving speeches, chairing meetings, preparing agendas and being responsible for committees.

I gained insight in the work of project Jatun S'acha, a reforestation and natureconservation effort backed by the UN, USAID and FAO. I joined a field team with their work in Chapare and the Yungas of la Paz. Furthermore I made a erosion risk map for a intervention area by making use of field measurements and satellite images.
