Ik coördineer de inhoudelijke activiteiten en samenhang daarvan binnen het cluster Ruimte van Rijkswaterstaat Water Verkeer en Leefomgeving.

Als senior adviseur in het kernteam van het programma Duurzaamheid en Leefomgeving help ik de regionale diensten om duurzaamheid mee te nemen in hun werkzaamheden.

Als adviseur Duurzame Leefomgeving adviseur ik over een groot aantal inhoudelijke duurzaamheidsdossier, en probeer ik die in te passen in de dagelijkse werkprocessen. Duurzame Gebiedsontwikkeling speelt daar in een centrale rol: Om samen met omgevingspartijen tot een integrale afweging te komen tussen verschillende (duurzaamheids)doelstellingen. Ook hou ik mij bezig met de uitvoering van de energiedoelstellingen van Rijkswaterstaat.

At PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency I worked as a policy researcher for the Dutch Government. During my time in the team of Nature and Rural Development, i specialized in projects on Natural Capital and Ecosystem Services. What was most important was learning from spatial developments and why and how nature and ecosystems were included. I found that the time and space of investments and results should be carefully aligned for project succes. As an action researcher, I participated in the Learning Evaluation of Nature Policy. My goal was to let different state actors (provinces) learn from their best practices for nature development. By organizing workshops in which I triggered the participants to share their lessons with each other, I strive for more efficient and effective policy implementation.

Researcher in the Building with Nature programme. Studying agenda-setting, stakeholder and political processes of innovative nature-inclusive coastal development. I also supervise bachelor- and masterstudents and give tutorials for the course "Introduction to Policy Analysis".

I worked at the Water Board Regge and Dinkel for half a year as an intern student. My activities consisted of doing research on the Water Assessment policy instrument. This research was completed succesfully as a master assignment (cum laude).
