Mijn rol bij de Gemeente Woerden laat zich het beste beschrijven als civieltechnisch duizendpoot. Ik ben werkzaam in een mooie mix van civiele nieuwbouw, renovatie -en reconstructieprojecten. Hoewel origineel ingehuurd als werkvoorbereider zit ik inmiddels met meerdere petten op: projectleider, projectbeheerser, technisch manager en werkvoorbereider. In de hierboven beschreven rollen is het aan mij om een veelvoud aan zaken in goede banen te leiden; o.a.: het opstarten, inrichten, plannen, gunnen en aansturen van civieltechnische werken; het afstemmen van projectraakvlakken, communicatie en onderhandeling met stakeholders; het borgen van informatie, het verifiëren -en vastleggen van eisen en het beheersen van risico’s; het signaleren, afstemmen en oplossen van technische knelpunten; het ontwerpen en voorbereiden van civieltechnische werken.

In mijn centrale rol in het City of Vancouver Deelfietsen Project begeleid ik het totaaltraject van (deelfiets) stationsaanvraag tot en met (deelfiets) stationsinstallatie. Ik houd mij ook bezig met contractbeheersing en kwaliteitsbewaking. Ik ben verantwoordelijk voor stationsontwerp toetsing, contact met bewoners en ondernemers, de uitgifte van stationsvergunningen en de installatie van deelfietsstations. Ik ben ook verantwoordelijk voor KPI bewaking en (ontwerp) kwaliteitscontrole. Acties: deelfietsstation ontwerp toetsing, het maken van nieuwe ontwerpen en doen van ontwerpwijzigingen met AutoCAD en coördinatie van ontwerptoesing met belanghebbenden. Bewoners en ondernemers feedback vergaren, beantwoorden en verwerken. Voortgangsrapportages maken. Contractbeheersing en kwaliteitscontrole van door aannemer aangeleverde ontwerpen en deelfietssysteem KPI data. Opstellen van contractbeheersings/penalty rapporten. Inhoudelijke en organisatorische begeleiding van junior teamleden.

Daily staff supervisor at The Hive boulder gym in Vancouver. In this role I was responsible for supervision of co-workers, gym maintenance, implementing managerial policies, opening and closing of the gym, balancing the till, dealing with injuries and maintaining a safe environment for both guests and co-workers. I did this by approaching my work in a structured and disciplined manner. This way I created an environment in which my co-workers knew what to expect from me and what was expected of them. This way I created an effective work environment and a solid base for my co-workers to work from independently when unexpected events required my attention. This resulted in customer satisfaction, smooth gym operation and solid work relationships.

Worked municipal construction and renovation projects.I was responsible for drawings from sketch phase up to and including specification drawings.My work consisted of communication with the client, designing with MicroStation V8i, information gathering, assessment and research for the project preparation.My efforts resulted in several sketch, preliminary and definitive designs and contract drawings.

I helped people get moving and achieve goals in personal and professional development.I did this through one-on-one coaching, career counseling, workshops and seminars, mentoring and assisting coach training. I worked with clients and colleagues in a large international network.Some results for my clients are: better communication in the workplace, starting their own business, a clearer career path, better time management, mental peace and new or better relationships.

In the role of salesperson, I helped clients with proper preparation of their outdoor adventures.I was responsible for customer service and sales of outdoor gear, opening and closing of the shop, and breathing new life into the Facebook channel of Kathmandu Outdoor & Travel.In this way I ensured higher customer satisfaction, and store sales. I took care of (seasonally oriented and creative) store presentation and on Facebook I increased customers reach and page interaction.

Thirty varied projects in public space. My tasks were mustering, starting, preparing, executing and transferring civil engineering projects. I also had tasks in information management at project and line level. I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in public space in the area of project management and civil engineering (integral; roads, sewerage, greening).My actions were broadly in project management and project control (budget responsibility to € 1,8M), work preparation of projects in public spaces, information management, stakeholder management and communication.This resulted in completely prepared and tendered works in public space but also better secured information on project and line level.

Worked on infrastructure and green management projects in public space.I was responsible for the overall planning and procurement of these projects. I also supervised starting engineers.My work consisted of the execution of necessary studies, drawings, specifications of work, the procurement of works and support supervisors in the execution.My commitment has led to the construction of three road projects in residential and industrial area and the reconstruction of the public space in two neighborhoods.

As civil engineering I played a multi faceted role in a small municipality. Responsible for the preparation of projects in public space.My analysis of data, drawings and specification work resulted in the preparation of a comprehensive sewerage renewal and planning of long-term sewer inspection and renewal.
