Mark has more than 30-years of experience in Software Engineering. Beginning his accomplished career in the mid 80’s creating ERP applications for IBM systems, then joining Global Software in 1993 as an application developer. During this time, he was heavily involved in the development and architecture of Global Software’s IBM AS/400 ERP products, and involved in the development of Spreadsheet Server. In 2000, Mark joined MediClick (a Global Software spinoff) as the Lead Architect, in the development of a, then revolutionary, Cloud based ERP and Materials Management system for the Healthcare industry. During his 14 years with MediClick, Mark’s career progressed to VP, New Product Development. In 2014 MediClick was purchased by Premier, Inc. where Mark was instrumental in the integration of newly acquired technologies. In 2016 Mark re-joined Global Software as Chief Technology Officer. Mark’s passion, vision, and desire to deliver only the highest quality user experiences has been a tremendous addition to Global Software’s leadership team.In 2020 he joined Palisade Corporation as Chief Technology Officer. Palisade offers @RISK and the DecisionTools Suite, which bring powerful new analytics to Microsoft Excel and Project. By harnessing the power of Monte Carlo simulation, decision trees, optimization, and other techniques, Palisade’s products enable users to fully understand risks and make better decisions. Beginning his postsecondary education studying Electrical Engineering, he discovered his passion for Computer Science at North Carolina State University. Mark, a North Carolina native, has 2 children, and is considered “King of the Grill’ by friends and family. You can also catch him camping at the beach or taking photos as a hobby.
