 Manage, lead and provide guidance to Finance team to ensure smooth delivery of Financial operations - including day-to-day operations of receivables, payables, general ledger, banking; month-end closing of accounts and consolidation; periodic statutory and compliance reporting; audit and tax. Perform periodic financial forecasting, annual budgeting, board papers and reporting. Manage the Group Cash Flows to ensure sufficient fund for business operation. Ensure compliance to MRFS, Companies’ Act, Income Tax Act, Transfer Pricing Guidelines and Group policies. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, statutory bodies, bankers, treasurer, company secretary and lawyers for audit/tax/banking/treasury/corporate/legal matters. Knowledge in SAP environment. Identify, recommend and implement solutions in consultation with the management and financial compliance for process improvements and system automation. Coordinate in SAP data migration projects Collaborate with internal departments and other business stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate results in meeting business objectives.  Support CFO, COO and VP Finance in providing financial analysis, and other ad-hoc works for making business decisions and continuous improvements.

 Responsible for month-end closing and financial statements preparation, using Hyperion. Prepare and coordinate financial audit process and tax returns. Annual Operating Plan and Cash Flow forecast preparation. Responsible for internal control for cost and inventory procedures compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prepare monthly and quarterly cost and inventory reports for management decision. Responsible for product costing including standard price cost system updates. Compare standard and actual costs and perform variance analysis. Responsible for physical inventory counts, investigation of variances and resolving issues by working closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement and Logistics departments. Assess and analyze product margins and spending variances. Knowledge in JD Edwards environment. Monitor the accuracy and timely processing of payment transactions. Awarded Six-Sigma green belt certification for effective management of Accounts Payable of the Company.
