As a proud granddaughter of a public-school teacher, it was my childhood dream to leave a legacy on the educational community, much like my grandmother. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the pursuit of that dream would lead me from the public-school classroom into the private sector as a technical trainer and instructional designer. With great joy, I can confidently say that within these roles I have found equal, if not greater, reward and satisfaction in providing career pathways for adult learners of all backgrounds.I believe that one’s ability to teach and lead rests first on her ability to be taught. I am a committed lifelong learner who believes that a posture of humility is the cornerstone of all teaching, learning, and leadership.
