• Served as lead project manager for WIDA’s largest project to date to develop an online assessment system and new educational resources being used by over 2 million English language learners and over 10,000 educators across the country• Built and maintained strong relationships with the consortium’s 35 member states to support educators’ involvement in the development and successful implementation of the new resources• Developed project plans and implemented communications strategies with project partners UCLA, WestEd, Data Recognition Corporation, Metritech, and consortium states’ Department of Education• Worked with the UW procurement office to manage the vendor selection process for the new resources, coordinating the year-long development of the Request for Proposals and timelines and activities associated with reviewing and scoring responses • Worked across teams to manage the development of new training materials to assist educators • Presented regularly at state and national conferences and stakeholder meetings on the development of the new materials• Prepared, submitted, and presented progress updates to the WIDA Board of Directors, state and federal funding agencies, internal departments, and external audiences• Managed the $10 million U.S. Department of Education grant that provided partial funding for these initiatives
