My research focused on using community metrics combined with genomics and a One Health approach to understanding waterborne disease in Aotearoa’s rivers and estuaries.Methods included the novel implementation of established molecular techniques (LAMP, rtPCR, and qPCR) on environmental DNA. My expertise includes project design and management, data generation and analysis, and implementing molecular tools. I am a multidisciplinary scientist and enjoy working in a transdisciplinary environment.
