Focusing on the strategy, consultation, design, execution and approach for College events. Contributes to College social media planning and execution. Ensures close coordination with College leadership, Alumni and Constituent Relations, Development, department peers, client contacts, and outside vendors to develop, support and execute the production of high-quality, strategic mission-focused events and social media campaigns.

Received the Outstanding Service Award, awarded to staff for outstanding contributions to the objectives of their units and/or the School, and who consistently achieve high performance in carrying out the responsibilities of their positions.Led strategic planning and execution of events hosted by the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, including high-profile public events that feature senior level officials from local, state, and national government entities. Worked closely with senior leaders and deans to develop programming and content for events that support the Humphrey School mission. Managed all aspects of event execution including budgeting, vendor management, marketing and public relations, speaker coordination, on-site logistics, and direction of volunteers.Served as a public-facing representative of the Humphrey School, responsible for building relationships with community partners and various external and internal stakeholders including faculty and staff of the Humphrey School and University departments.

Managed and executed 14 annual donor events including the Auction at MCAD, Art Sale Opening Night, donor receptions, nationwide development travel, and other departmental events, managing a special event budget of $300,000 and tracking departmental budget of $1M annually.Managed end-to-end on event collateral, working closely with in-house design agency to manage budgets and deadlines for multiple events simultaneously.Provided communications support for the Institutional Advancement Office including annual fund materials, e-solicitations, event invitations, email newsletters, annual report and donor wall.

Successfully completed training program in hospitality management, including project and operations management across multiple departments. Acted as interim Assistant General Manager, overseeing large downtown hotel’s human resources, payroll, on-boarding, staff training, and assisted with revenue management. Performed and revised processes for on-boarding and HR procedures, daily and monthly account reconciliation.

Organized weekly live music performances at UW Hospital for hospital staff, patients & guests. Coordinated schedule and event logistics working with hospital staff, student performers. Presented framework for the program to an audience at the UW-Madison Undergraduate Symposium in 2014. Served as lead grantwriter for a winning application for a Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission Project Grant received Spring 2015.

Independently managed full event-planning process including development of marketing plan to successfully bring over 400 attendees to the research station's annual open house event. Coordinated 3 press conferences for staff scientists with local media and published press releases locally. Published written pieces and video content on behalf of the research facility, covering limnological research. Assisted in developing a revised marketing package for research station events, bringing in highest-ever attendee count for annual open house.

Served as lead planner for a 7-day, international scientific conference at UW-Madison and assisted with planning three other major conferences taking place during summer, along with daily room reservation management. Coordinated on-campus conference logistics including hotel blocks, participant transportation, companion activities, abstract collection and organization, and audiovisual coordination. Assisted with facilities management during events at the student union, working with team of event staff.
