My education at the University of Cincinnati and Good Samaritan College of Nursing & Health Science laid a strong foundation for a career that's been rich in diversity and specialized care. I have been a registered nurse for nearly 10 years, all of which have been spent in hospital settings/acute care. My career started in critical care, where I found my passion for the complexities of the wellness-illness continuum. I developed an excellent foundation that allowed me to expand my knowledge and provide compassionate care, resulting in being awarded the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. My career continued to expand taking me onto a wide range of specialties including: emergency medicine, behavioral health, occupational medicine, home health, forensic nursing, as well as advanced and intermediate care. This diverse integration into various specialties allows me to meet the complex needs of patients in a variety of settings, driven by my mission to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
