Astroloshop is a web site that aims to make online shopping easier and more fun by bridging the gap between astrology and personal taste. Spending hours clicking through web stores can be exhausting, and often a waste of time. It acts as a personal shopping service by matching each sign with a carefully edited selection of items that are best suited to that sign.

I act as the CEO for this small, start-up, online magazine. I directed its design and build and currently oversee creative and editorial but focus on marketing, advertising, and strategic partnerships. * Manage traffic-growth, internet marketing including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing.* Spearhead brand development for the "OZO" network of businesses (OZOlab, OZOcar, OZOlife).* Sought out and succeeded in partnering with major media: Vanity Fair, Dwell, Good, Ideeli.com, Coolhunting.com and more.* Ran a subscriber drive with Lush Cosmetics, increasing our readership.* Advise on New Business strategy.* Directed the writing of OZOlife business plan, and presented to several VC firms.* Invited high-level advisors and lead OZOlife board meetings.

• Managed two clients: Nantucket Island Resorts (5 luxury hotel properties) and ESPA (a luxury spa and beauty company); conceived and wrote a 2007 PR PLAN for each client. • Hosted 13 writers (ForbesLife, Departures, OK!, Boston, American Spa, Yankee, and more!) on a press trip to Nantucket to promote coverage of our properties. Worked with writers to come up with story ideas and provide client details. • Wrote press releases, and sent them to local and national media. Acquired several “clips” from client press releases, personal pitching and press trip, such as Town & Country, Travel + Leisure, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Veranda, OK, Departures and more.• Planned the “Annual Client Showcase Event” to which over 150 top media attend to meet and greet all Alice Marshall Public Relations hotel clients from around the world to learn all of the latest news from each property. This consisted of finding and booking a venue, finding and negotiating pay with caterer, managing the budget, writing save-the-dates and hard copy invitations as well as organizing an educational “media panel,” where a handful of media leaders (including DailyCandy, Coolhunting, TheKnot, and Concierge.com) discussed trends in their genre of media for the coming year.• Spearheaded branding exercises in office, to prepare company (and brand security) for a broader scope of new non-travel clients.
