Director of Teaching Certification and Alternate Route – Kean UniversityI am thrilled to accept this new role at Kean University, a renowned four-year institution, where I will have the opportunity to advance my work in teacher preparation, certification, and alternative pathways into the profession. This position perfectly aligns with my passion for developing exceptional educators and allows me to further explore the research and goals outlined in my dissertation.At Kean, I look forward to contributing to the success of future educators by streamlining certification processes, guiding aspiring teachers through alternative routes, and supporting their professional growth every step of the way. This new position at Ocean County College will focus on Alternate Route Educator Preparation, managing the College Readiness Grant, and coordinating the Early College program for students who attend OCC while still in K-12 schools. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure exceptional service to students. As the Dean of Educational Resources, our commitment to student success will be the number one priority in all initiatives and programs associated with this position.

With over two decades of experience as an educator and leader, including 12 years in higher education administration, I have been honored with numerous awards and recognitions. As an accomplished author in the field of educational leadership, I have received accolades for my contributions. Additionally, I have consistently excelled in teaching and have been named Teacher of the Year three times. My dynamic speaking engagements have allowed me to inspire and engage diverse audiences.Currently serving as the Assistant Dean of e-Learning at Ocean County College, I am deeply committed to fostering innovation and enhancing the educational experiences of both students and educators. In my role, I also lead college-wide initiatives to drive positive change and advancement in the field of education.
