• Studied refugee process in America, specifically among Somali Bantu community.• Tutored Muslim Somali Bantu refugees in their home 12-15 hrs/wk.• Assisted in creation of a non-profit organization alongside the student activity group in order to advocate for refugees in the city and raise money for community programs.
