In addition to management and administrative duties, I also complete intensive case management services, counseling, and community outreach with a caseload of referred clients. Clinical Social Work InternManchester Community Health Center Sep 2011 - May 2012Manchester, NhI worked as a clinical social work MSW intern at MCHC three days per week. In this healthcare setting, I completed intake assessments with pregnant women, many of whom were teenagers or non-English speaking. I completed 50-minute-hour counseling sessions with referred clients, currently ranging in age from 19-73. During counseling sessions I utilized basic CBT, DBT, and SFT interventions. I also completed mental health assessment and DSM diagnosis for each client. Occasionally I did immediate crisis-intervention with specific clients identified by MCHC doctors. I also entered Manchester's alternative high school, the PASS program, once per week to complete 15-20 minute "check-ins" and brief counseling with referred students.
