Moses Brown raised $3.3M overall in FY24; an increase over the $2.5M raised in FY23. I qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 125 prospects and have refreshed the Planned Giving program; in doing so memberships have been confirmed and a solid marketing & outreach plan is in place with several new members having been added to the legacy society

Managed a 10 person team of 6 frontline major gift officers, 2 planned giving officers and 2 associates. Brought new thinking to portfolio development working closely with research to rebuild metrics and regions for gift officers. Developed a strong relationship with Annual Fund and Alumni Relations to strengthen philanthropic relationships with alumni and parent donors.

Oversaw a six-person fundraising team covering NYC, Chicago, Colorado, Texas and other midwestern secondary markets. Maintained a portfolio of 75 highly rated prospect closing gifts at the 6, 7 and 8 figure level. Partnered with Alumni Relations, Annual Fund and Planned Giving teams to strategize on giving and relationship building.

The primary responsibilities were to lead and manage the Development program for UNCSA which included Major Gifts, Annual Fund, Alumni Relations, Donor Communications and Grants. This position worked closely with the Vice Chancellor for Advancement, the Chancellor, Cabinet, Deans and Faculty as well as UNCSA volunteer leadership and boards, to create and implement strategies to achieve school-wide fundraising goals.

Oversaw the operations of the School of Education with 5 direct reports and 30 staff reporting to my team. This included budget and personnel areas, internal and external communications, marketing, fundraising, technology, facilities management and special projects assigned by the Dean. This position required close working relationships with both School and University administration and academic leadership as well as an understanding of academic goals and objectives of the School.

Successfully completed the Students First Campaign as of June 2009 exceeding original goal of $6.5 million by $2 million for UNCG's School of Education. Focused on major gifts for the School of Education while occasionally working with foundations and corporations. Responsible for creating naming opportunities plan and executing this plan with the new LEED Certified School of Education building.Additional responsibilities were added toward the end of my tenure in this positions, such as overseeing the communications and alumni relations and supervising staff members.

Began the fund-raising program for RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale, IL.

Implemented the Stewardship program at Advocate Charitable Foundation including developing and executing events for high-end donors.

Worked with teachers from Chicago Public Schools in underserved communities to bridge the classroom curriculum with musical artists. Conducted trainings for artists and teachers to better partner.

Taught 2nd grade at Pope Elementary School in the Lawndale community.

Developed educational programming for 150 international students and traveled with the cast through the southern United States and Europe.

Taught visual arts and life sciences to secondary school students. Led pre-service and in-service training for new volunteers.
