Founded in 2009, True to Life Ministries (TTLM) has steadfastly and proactively addressed the challenges of at-risk youth and adults transitioning to self-sufficiency and stability through mobilizing our mission of cultivating hope and introducing people to true life in Christ by providing the skills, resources, and community of support necessary for life-change. TTLM combines employment and life-skill workshops, in-depth case management, and job training programs to help men, women, and high school students overcome significant life challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, underemployment, poverty, and overall lack of support. My role involved developing marketing and public awareness strategies, and redesigning marketing materials and the fundraising strategy.I launched S.O.S. Awareness Month, which included media spotlights, block parties, the Walk-A-Mile fundraiser with over 300 participants in its first year, and a BBQ fundraiser that remains a key part of the S.O.S. fundraising strategy. I led a highly successful capital campaign to purchase 25 acres of property in Bryan, TX, significantly expanding our capacity to serve the community. Additionally, I developed and launched a successful monthly donor campaign, building a strong foundation of ongoing donor support. I also bridged the gap between community programming and government-subsidized housing programs to more effectively provide services and resources to target communities.

As the Leadership Training Coordinator and Children’s Ministry Director for Save Our Streets Ministries, I led the Children’s Ministry Team in a targeted outreach strategy and organized weekly activities for over 220 children. I developed and launched S.O.S. On Location, an annual program that sent teams of 25-35 volunteers to four strategically chosen economically depressed areas for six weeks during the summer to conduct mentoring activities.I established strong relationships with student organizations at Texas A&M, building a year-round volunteer pipeline of over 150 college students. Additionally, I forged partnerships with local churches, engaging them in financial giving and volunteer opportunities. I developed and wrote curriculum for children's programming and created a comprehensive approach to training volunteers. Furthermore, I built a network of community agencies to bridge services for families served by Save Our Streets Ministries, enhancing the support and resources available to the community.
