As the Program Manager at the OTN DIB STEM Consortium, I work with a dynamic team dedicated to pioneering interdisciplinary curriculum centered around Digital Transformation and Digital Thread technologies. Our focus is on crafting educational programs that cater to the needs of two-year and four-year institutions, K-12 schools, and incumbent workers, ensuring they acquire the essential skills for the future demands of Industry 4.0.Our work involves close collaboration with local Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEPs) to align our curriculum with the specific needs of local industries, thereby enhancing workforce readiness and supporting regional economic development. Through these partnerships, we are committed to facilitating seamless digital integration in educational frameworks, preparing the next generation for a technologically advanced workplace.

The ASK Program is an undergraduate research program with the goal of increasing the participation of early undergraduates in research by lowering and overcoming barriers to these opportunities. In this role, I serve as the program manager, developing, implementing, managing, and completing cross-functional team projects, creating and tracking budgets and approving expenses, acting as liaison between the project team and other stakeholders, develop plans, timelines and reports, manage and monitor project metrics, and hire and manage program staff.

I teach a variety of lecture and laboratory-based courses over a variety of biology-related topics to undergraduates at all levels. I also specialize in curricular design and developing courses and curriculum for different teaching modalities. Additional, I lead programs that serve our undergraduate population, which involves recruitment, data management and analysis, and tracking of project completion.

In this role I served as a laboratory manager as well as investigated the effect of direct mechanical ventricular actuation (DMVA) on the myocardium for the cardiac support of patients in heart failure. My duties included oversight of laboratory personnel, inventory and ordering of supplies, and tracking and completion of multiple concurrent projects. I additionally trained and supervised laboratory personnel.

I served as a research assistant utilizing a murine knockout model to study the roles of Hes-1 and Pax-6 on the development of the eye in utero. My role included completion of multiple concurrent projects, data management and analysis, management of laboratory operations, and training and supervision of personnel.
