I'm a curious and driven individual who isn't afraid to define new roles and take on projects within the digital space. Being detail- and task-oriented, I work best when I'm paired with a person who can see the bigger picture, but I'm not afraid to lead within my spheres of influence.In my current role as an HRIS Administrator on the HR Process and Technology team at Dell Technologies, I am constantly learning how to implement and configure new functionality to improve the user experience in Workday. I was fortunate to join this team at the time when Dell was implementing a brand-new suite of technology platforms, so I've been engaged in the launch and ongoing improvement of those platforms.At first glance, my career path looks non-linear, but there's a common thread throughout the positions I've held: I've either been the first person in a newly created role or the first to make the position unique with my variety of skills and experience. What started as a career in journalism and web production morphed into supporting communications and employment branding which eventually lead me to a role on a team dedicated to being on the cutting edge of HR information systems.Technology continues to be an ever-changing frontier and I’m incredibly excited to be a part of this industry.
