As EVP and Head of Impact I worked with the rest of the executive team to select projects that fit the company's double bottom line mandate of commercial viability and social return on investment. I then managed the effort to build social action campaigns around each of our films, providing audiences and activists with the opportunity to get engaged and make a difference. This position included both strategy and execution. Films/Campaigns included Al Gore's Oscar-winning film "An Inconvenient Truth" and Oscar-nominated films "Good Night, and Good Luck", "Syriana", "North Country" and "Murderball."

Break the Cycle's mission is to end domestic violence by working proactively with youth. As Founder and CEO, I was responsible for creating the vision and then turning that vision into reality. Created innovative program services including a first-of-its-kind curriculum for teens on the issue of relationship abuse and legal services for minors. Built capacity and took the organization national, providing a template for replication around the country.
