Senior planner on Imagine Austin, a 30-year comprehensive plan for the city. Adopted by City Council in 2012, Imagine Austin was the City’s first comprehensive plan since 1979. Over the four year planning process, over 15,000 Austinites were engaged via public meetings, surveys, and other mechanisms designed to include voices that are often excluded from typical municipal planning. Extensive buy-in from elected officials, neighborhood & community leaders, and the development community was the key to approval and subsequent implementation of Imagine Austin.
