I’m a registered nurse with 10 years of experience in the various care areas: clinical coordinator cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, pre-procedure, and progressive care unit. A few things you should know I’m passionate about in healthcare-▪Medical devices - I enjoy being involved with and learning about new procedures and medical devices. My current department is unique and I have the opportunity to be in a variety of cardiac cath and interventional radiology cases. There is always something new to learn.▪Process improvement - I’ve been involved in several projects improving patient education and knowledge retention, bedside handoff, door to needle time for stroke patients, moderate sedation documentation, and new hire orientation.▪Patient outcomes - I’m here for my patients. Whether they need reassurance about the day, another walkthrough of a planned procedure, or require an emergent change in the treatment plan, I’m skilled and ready to adapt to their needs. My career thus far has offered me the ability to be a nurse leader, department coordinator, mentor, and facilitator of change. I’m excited to see the advances in healthcare what I’ll accomplish in the next 10 years.
