Meredith Hampton is Vice President Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel for the home décor retailer At Home Group Inc. From January through September 2023, Meredith also lead At Home's human resources function as Interim Chief People Officer.In her role as Compliance Officer, Meredith developed and leads At Home's ESG and corporate sustainability function as well as the corporate compliance and ethics program. As Associate General Counsel, her areas of responsibility include corporate governance, intellectual property, information security and data privacy, commercial agreements, and litigation management. Meredith also acts as the Assistant Corporate Secretary for the organization, and she is the Sponsor of the Women's Initiative for Leadership employee resource group. As Interim Chief People Officer, Meredith led the company's human resources team and the strategic people processes, including development programming, compensation and benefits, and DE&I. Prior to At Home's acquisition by Hellman & Friedman in July 2021, Meredith handled securities-related matters for the organization. From March 2018 to November 2020 Meredith additionally served as Chief of Staff, responsible for corporate planning and strategy, executive team communication, and facilitating the company's quarterly and annual roadmaps.
