I am part of a New Zealand-based team that provides full BambooHR implementation services to our kiwi customers. I am also part of Tribe’s People & Culture team and take the lead on all things People Recruitment, with a focus on internship, technical, and leadership positions for Tribe.On the Culture side, I partner closely with our managers to support them in motivating and coaching their teams as well as ensuring successful onboarding and induction of their new team members.

-Established and rolled out the HR Services practice for IT Services Firms throughout the US; services include Full Life-Cycle Talent Acquisition and Retention, Performance Management, virtual HR Manager, Employee Relations, and HR Management Systems-Talent Acquisition service includes strategic discovery calls with clients, sourcing and managing job boards, professional networking, screening and shortlisting resumes, interviewing for technical and culture fit, and closing candidates for the following highly-skilled IT-based roles – Support Technicians, Service Desk, Sales, HR, and Management-Created and launched multi-state Employee Handbooks for clients that are custom fit for small businesses and comply with federal and state labor laws-Set up Xcellerate’s internal HR function that includes payroll and benefits systems, HR Management System (ATS), performance management best practices and job descriptions-Created HR content “Resource Center” in our clients’ Confluence portal so they may easily access information and templates on HR Compliance and Best Practices, job descriptions, recruitment and performance management

-Full life-cycle, high volume recruiting for financial services/banking roles – Executive, IT, HR, Financial Services, Accounting and Lending positions; maintained 40+ requisitions at a time and made over 5 placements a month-Led strategy meetings with hiring managers, generated leads through multiple resources, and searched for highly-qualified and thoroughly-evaluated applicants-Conducted phone and in-person interviews and participated in decision making process with hiring managers-Supported complex salary negotiations and maintained documentation to ensure full compliance with regulations-Coordinated and attended relevant Job Fairs with an emphasis on Diversity-Interim Manager for an 8 person Staffing team during Manager’s maternity leave

-Oversaw and executed HR Operations for UK-based employees on a small NGO budget – Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Contract Administration, and New Employee Orientation, with a strong emphasis on attracting and closing candidates for Executive and Director roles. -Recruited and managed 3 HR staff members – HR Advisor, HR Officer, and Payroll/HR Assistant-Managed the successful conversion from a full-service vendor payroll function to an in-house bureau service-Automated manual recruitment processes and procedures by implementing an applicant tracking system; created and updated job descriptions -Negotiated contracts with search firms, job boards, and other vendors to get the best deal for the NGO-Supported line managers in Employee Relations cases through effective coaching while complying with UK employment laws; established positive working relationships with on-site labor union representatives (Unite)
