As a team lead, I have been given the opportunity to build a sales team. I have been tasked with the responsibility to interview candidates and work one on one with them to teach them sales. I also work directly with our customers/clients providing expert solutions and results.

As a shift supervisor, I was responsible for managing the floor, keeping up with inventory counts and orders, and money handling. I learned how to manage high-stress situations, and dealing with difficult customer interactions. This job taught me to always be flexible and ready for whatever challenge the day has to offer.

This internship has provided me with experience in all things production as well as administrative insight. I was able to experience the ins and outs of hosting events. From planning out every detail before the event, to operating the lights, sound board, monitors, etc. on the day of the event.

I cared for two young boys, picking them up from school, taking them to different activities, entertaining them throughout the day, and preparing meals for them. I watched the boys over the weekends several times while the parents were out of town and often accompanied them on trips. Outside of caring for the boys, I also assisted with household chores and often dog-sat.
