The Civil Society is a bi-partisan political organization founded to give students a place to discuss their different political opinions. Our mission is to create a more "civil society" by facilitating positive political discussion and participating in community service projects. -Created discussion questions and briefs for each meeting based off of current events. -Facilitated a positive political discussion at meetings by encouraging diversity of opinion. -Recruited Indiana University students to attend the meetings through various marketing campaigns.

The Endowment Consulting and Management Club at Indiana University is an upcoming student-run organization with a focus to publish financial research, create a new age university endowment investment strategy, and secure endowment funding to grow. - Helped to establish an ambitious student-run organization with an innovative mindset.- Worked with and helping to manage a team of highly skilled individuals interested in investment consulting. - Published financial research regarding endowment investments. - Secured a $2500 from the Metz Grant at Indiana University to invest.

Big Brothers Bigs Sisters (BBBS) is a non-profit focused on empowering young people through the creation of one-on-one mentoring relationships. The mentors, or "Bigs", are not only role models, but friends. They give the children, or "Littles", someone to talk to who encourages their passions and helps them grow. However, in the end, the Bigs often get as much out of the relationships as the Littles do. As a grant compliance and operations intern, I had various behind the scenes roles including:-Edited grant applications, including the application for the annual Sophia Travis grant. This year BBBS received $6,500 from the grant, the most the organization has ever received.-Created policies for the confidentiality of clients and volunteers, the political involvement of the board of trustees, and the reimbursement for the board of trustee members to ensure compliance with both Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and United Way to guarantee the continuance of affiliations.-Crafted and updated marketing materials for the organization to use to promote new initiatives, such as Bigs with Badges which involves law enforcement officers and first responders stepping into the "Big" position.

Worked with Professor Abbey Stemler at the Kelley School of Business on a sharing economy regulation project for the World Bank. -Conducted research and different policies around the world and their effectiveness. -Analyzed different countries and how they each have handled the sharing economy.

Undergraduate Mock Trial is a competitive, national network of teams around the country. Every school receives the same case at the beginning of the year and prepares both sides of the case for trial, including having attorney opening and closing statements, having students portraying witnesses, and preparing witness examinations. Teams travel and compete in invitational tournaments as well as a few regional tournaments, to determine which teams will go on to the national championship. -Argues cases as an attorney and portrays a witness on the Indiana University Mock Trial Team.-Prepares a case with a legal theory, case theme, and witness examinations with the help of the team. -Competes at many well-respected tournaments around the country, several times a year. -Collaborates with the team multiple times a week for several hours to prepare for tournaments and to be able to present case in the best way possible.
