I'm a person that loves to understand how things work, and why things happen. Digging into complicated systems, or into a wall of code that was written a decade ago is where I thrive. I have an intense curiosity that drives me to understand the cause and effect of every minute element in a system. Earning my physics degree, then pursuing my current degree in computer science, is my efforts to satisfy my curiosity for a living!In the University of Kentucky UAV lab, I am responsible for installing an array of sensors, both in the drones, and in our flying field. I also keep our code up-to-date, keeping it working efficiently when new sensors are added, and adding functionality to streamline our efforts. As a student, I am able to maintain a high GPA and succeed in my classes while maintaining part-time jobs. In addition to working in the UAV lab, I spend time tutoring younger students, in a variety of subjects. Additionally, I am a peer tutor for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. Having always found value in helping others, I find tutoring to be an extremely rewarding endeavor.
