I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist & Addiction Counsellor providing counselling & psychotherapy services in Ontario, Canada. I am also a full-time Professor teaching in a criminal justice program. For over 20 years, I have assisted both adults and youth experiencing a wide range of clinical issues including; addiction, pro-criminal behaviour, anger, interpersonal relationship problems, depression, anxiety, abuse, critical incident stress and trauma. I have worked extensively in the field of Social Services since 1999, in Corrections since 2001, as a Registered Social Worker since 2003 and in Higher Education since 2011. I have provided psychotherapy and counselling services for EAP organizations (i.e., Shepell-fgi, LifeWorks, Optima Globale Health/Dialogue, HumanaCare, CUPE and Air Canada) and via information and communication technology applications (i.e., Telus Health, TeleCBT, Snapclarity and Tranqool).I have specific training and experience in Addiction Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Strengths-Based Perspective, Mindfulness, Trauma & PTSD, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Post-Secondary Teaching.I am committed to ongoing professional development and training, the pursuit of higher education, and to providing an emotionally safe, supportive and honest environment for all of my clients and students.
