My practice focuses on estate planning and administration, providing clients with advice on wealth preservation, transfer, and management; charitable giving; and individual and entity tax compliance and reporting. I have represented clients in federal and state audits, offers in compromise, voluntary disclosures, and Surrogate's Court matters. I also have extensive experience in forming and advising tax-exempt organizations on federal and state compliance issues.I received my JD from New York University School of Law, where I served as a Senior Executive Editor on the Law Review and a Student Editor on the Tax Law Review. I also hold an Advanced Professional Certificate in Taxation/Estate Planning from NYU Law.I am a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, where I have taught an externship / clinic in Trusts, Wills, and Estate Planning since spring 2018. Since 2016, I have served as a panelist with representatives from Legal Aid of a continuing legal education presentation, Counseling the Small Not-for-Profit Organization.

I represented and advised corporate entities, nonprofit entities, distressed entities, Indian tribes, and high net worth individuals and families on domestic and international tax and estate planning issues. I also represented clients in controversies with federal and local tax authorities. I administered estates and trusts, including large complex estates in New Jersey and New York, and advised nonprofit entities with respect to governance, tax compliance, and economic alliances.

I co-owned my own dance studio together with my husband. We taught group and private lessons in ballroom, swing, Latin, and country-western, and competed in several types of partner dance. We promoted events, appeared on television and in movies, produced and sold instructional videotapes, and many other activities.
