As an Advocacy Program Director for the Society of Human Resources (SHRM), I build relationships with volunteer leaders, members, vendors, and government officials to achieve and exceed advocacy objectives. I take great pride in leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of leaders and volunteers to achieve program outcomes and success benchmarks across multiple locations. Prior to my time at SHRM, I spent 10 years in Washington D.C. managing several grassroots advocacy programs across multiple industries where I built and maintained large advocacy networks and grew advocacy programs by 150%. Due to my strong ability to communicate and influence, I’ve had great success across various platforms and am highly attuned to executing tasks as part of a strategic plan.
