I’m a fine artist by nature, who slid into the world of graphic design and printing right out of college, and landed in my family’s pre-press shop in Cleveland, Ohio as a production assistant. There I was grateful to learn the technical aspects of the field, as well as the importance of customer service and the value of dedicated clients and co-workers. I combined my technical knowledge with my creative side and left the family nest for positions at several established agencies and publications. In 2012, I started my own company, Map Creative, LLC., so I could focus on the type of work I like best, which is working with inspired people dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of others through good design and consistent visual brand messaging.When I'm not designing...A passionate cook, I’m the editor (and designer of course!) of two cookbooks, Rust Belt Vegan Kitchen (Belt Publishing, 2021) and Midwest Pie (Belt Publishing, 2023).
